This part is within the thermistor section. The thermistor is a type of resistor which alters the resistance of the circuit as the temperature changes. There are two types of thermistors these are known as NTC or PTC, it is important to use the correct thermistor as these are used by the PCB to detect if more heat is required in the system depending on the resistance in the circuit .
